If you’re 65 or older and a U.S. citizen or legal resident, you qualify for Medicare. This period starts 3 months before your 65th birthday, includes the month of your birthday, and ends 3 months after. You’ll get Part A (hospital insurance) automatically, but you’ll need to sign up for Part B (medical insurance)!
